Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately calculate commissions for internal staff and/or external partners in a timely manner.
  • Update and manage commission structures in the system per contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Reconcile commission data across systems, reports, and payments.
  • Collaborate with departments (e.g., Technical, Sales, Policy Admin) to collect necessary data for commission processing.
  • Process adjustments, overrides, clawbacks, and corrections to commission payments as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute regular commission reports and statements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to commissions.
  • Enhance processes and propose system improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support month-end closing tasks related to commissions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commission processing, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong numerical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
  • Familiarity with Lifebee or similar accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Hong Kong insurance market and its regulations is a plus.
