Responsibilities

 

Drive Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Partner with the leadership team to set and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term goals.
  • Identify, analyze, and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
  • Develop and refine business models and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market penetration.

End-to-End Project Management:

  • Lead critical, cross-functional projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable plans with clear milestones, owners, and timelines.
  • Implement lightweight project management frameworks and tools to improve visibility, communication, and execution across all departments.

Oversee and Optimize Daily Operations:

  • Build, streamline, and manage the core business operations of the company, including finance, HR, and legal functions (in partnership with functional leads or external partners).
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor business health and drive a culture of data-informed decision-making.
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, constantly seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure capital is deployed effectively.

Investor & Shareholder Communications:

  • Prepare compelling and insightful materials for board meetings, investor updates, and shareholder communications.
  • Synthesize complex operational data and financial performance into clear, concise narratives that articulate the company's progress, challenges, and strategic direction.
  • Work closely with the founder to prepare for fundraising activities, including developing financial models and pitch decks.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for managing investor information requests and maintaining strong relationships.

 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or finance.
  • A track record of solving complex problems in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Direct, clear, and persuasive communication.
  • An obsession with execution and a deep sense of ownership.
  • The ability to lead, influence, and hold people accountable.
