Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the month-end ledger closing and annual budgeting processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive HKGAAP, HKPGAAP, and HK Statutory monthly financial statements and management reports for regular company-level and parent group reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of various analyses relating to the Company's financial performance, with the aim of supporting budgeting and control.
  • Contribute to the annual tax filing, interim and final audits, including the preparation of disclosures, and liaise with external auditors and other professional bodies.
  • Provide ad-hoc accounting support from time to time, including performing Accounting system enhancement UATs and upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial and management reporting, preferably in the Insurance industry.
  • Be a qualified HKICPA or a HKICPA finalist candidate.
  • Experience in financial planning, budget management, financial analysis, and knowledge of IFRS 17 are considered advantageous.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in the SAP accounting system and Microsoft Excel.
