Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the month-end ledger closing and annual budgeting processes.
- Prepare comprehensive HKGAAP, HKPGAAP, and HK Statutory monthly financial statements and management reports for regular company-level and parent group reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of various analyses relating to the Company's financial performance, with the aim of supporting budgeting and control.
- Contribute to the annual tax filing, interim and final audits, including the preparation of disclosures, and liaise with external auditors and other professional bodies.
- Provide ad-hoc accounting support from time to time, including performing Accounting system enhancement UATs and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial and management reporting, preferably in the Insurance industry.
- Be a qualified HKICPA or a HKICPA finalist candidate.
- Experience in financial planning, budget management, financial analysis, and knowledge of IFRS 17 are considered advantageous.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in the SAP accounting system and Microsoft Excel.
