Receptionist (5 days work, contract end bonus)

Overview:

We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of office software and applications

Day-to-day:

  • Greeting and assisting visitors
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Managing office supplies and inventory
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Performing general clerical duties
