Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison to the global sales team at headquarters.
  • Drive the acquisition of new international business through various methods, including networking, customer outreach, and collaboration with both clients and international partners.
  • Assess and leverage opportunities within current accounts while seeking to introduce new service offerings.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual reviews with global clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with Logistics' service portfolio.
  • Assist regional sales and operations teams in crafting customer proposals and facilitating the onboarding of new clients.
  • Work alongside local service teams to swiftly resolve issues faced by global clients.
  • Partner with regional account managers to enhance processes that boost customer satisfaction and ensure smooth operations.
  • Engage in fostering a global account culture at both HQ and Regional Offices to enhance efficiency, share best practices, and promote innovation.
  • Carry out additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management, ideally within the logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ocean and air freight, warehousing, and supply chain management.
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven record of achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Chinese and Putonghua considered a plus.
  • Motivated self-starter with robust leadership capabilities and a strategic outlook.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for entry-level management roles.
