Job Description

 

THE JOB

  • Lead multiple IT delivery teams at the program level to ensure cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Define program objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Develop program plans, timelines, and budgets that optimize resources, minimize costs, and maximize team profitability.
  • Align IT initiatives with strategic business objectives through collaboration with senior management and C-level executives.
  • Manage team profit and loss (P&L) statements, tracking financial performance and ensuring profitability.
  • Allocate resources strategically across projects to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide financial updates, and manage profit expectations.
  • Implement cost-efficient strategies to manage risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining profitability.
  • Coach, direct, and oversee implementation teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor workloads, forecast resource needs, address bottlenecks, and formulate manpower strategies.
  • Review and approve project scopes, execution plans, and deliverable schedules.
  • Continuously manage changes in scope, identify risks, and implement contingency plans.
  • Track implementation milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

THE PERSON

  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple IT delivery teams at the program level, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong experience in enterprise systems implementation, preferably in retail or consumer products businesses.
  • Financial expertise in managing P&L statements, optimizing resource allocation, and maximizing profitability.
  • Strategic planning skills with demonstrated success in aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Advanced project management expertise (PMP certification is a plus), including Agile methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and senior management.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Technical background in IT is a strong advantage, providing insight for decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred), with 15+ years of experience in IT software development and enterprise software implementation.
  • Willingness to travel as required for projects.
